Today, our program begins a bit earlier, around 5:30 AM. The hotel will prepare your breakfast as a take-away so you can enjoy it during the safari. The safari itself will last about 4 hours, giving us plenty of time to explore and observe the wildlife.

After our exhilarating Yala safari, our journey continues as we head towards Ella. En route, we have a wonderful opportunity to visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawa. Here, you can witness the heartwarming sight of baby elephants being fed milk. It's a beautiful experience that adds even more magic to our adventure-filled day.

Today, after breakfast, you'll embark on an unforgettable train journey from Ella to Nanuoya, en route to Kandy. This scenic ride winds through lush tea plantations, misty mountains, and picturesque villages. The approximately 3.5-hour journey promises breathtaking views and an authentic Sri Lankan experience. We'll eagerly await your arrival at Nanuoya Railway Station to continue our adventure to Kandy together.

On the route to Kandy, we'll make a stop at a tea factory. Here, you'll discover the art of tea production, from leaf to cup. Learn about Sri Lanka's rich tea heritage and savor the aroma of freshly brewed blends. It's a delightful opportunity to immerse yourself in the country's iconic industry.

Rising dramatically from the surrounding plains, Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress adorned with colorful frescoes and a mesmerizing royal palace. The ascent takes approximately 2.5 hours, offering panoramic views of the lush landscape below. Afterward, we'll return to the hotel, filled with awe and wonder from our unforgettable experience.

In the afternoon, at 2 PM, we'll explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases the grandeur of Sri Lanka's medieval capital, with impressive ruins of palaces, temples, and monasteries. Discover intricately carved sculptures and marvel at the architectural splendor that reflects the island's rich history and cultural heritage.

After breakfast, we'll head to the Habarana Eco Park for a safari experience, where you can encounter more elephants in their natural habitat.then you have the opportunity to take part in a village safari. The complete package includes a bullock cart ride, a catamaran trip, a visit to a village house, activities and a cookery demonstration in the village house. There is also a tasting of local snacks with herbal tea or a local lunch buffet and a tuk-tuk ride to the starting point of the tour.

Finally, we'll drive back to Negombo, where you can spend the night, reflecting on the incredible experiences of our journey through Sri Lanka's diverse landscapes, rich heritage, and vibrant culture.
